Remember this is “shareware” that is - we all use the same system allowing the low costs to participate. So the rules below are very important.

First rule is READ the simple directions at the top and left margins of each page before making additions or changes: ALWAYS MAKE CERTAIN YOU HAVE CHECKED YOUR ITEM AND BUSINESS NAME TO WORK WITH Once you have put up a couple items you will find it very easy to do.

Using Back Office Admin Panel: First……..

1 Open Community Clearance

2. Click Virtual Outlet Mall under picture of downtown upper right corner of any page - this will take you to the username password box.
3. Enter your username and password.
4. Select either Manage Images or Manage Inventory.

5. Using Manage Images allows you to replace or send a new image up to AN EXISTING ITEM.
a. Just scroll and find the page your item is on and select YOUR FILE by clicking the circle
on the left margin of all the pictures. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SELECTED YOUR FILE.
b. Click Browse and then find and open your folder in your computer files. Select the picture by clicking Open.
c. Click Change Images and its done. You can use the feature when you have listed items prior and now want to send up pictures.

6. If you click Manage Inventory you will see four (4) live links: Edit Item – Insert New Item – VIEW ALL ITEMS – Delete

7 To Delete:
a. Click VIEW ALL ITEMS then follow the first rule, that is - make certain you have clicked the circle next to YOUR item
Scroll down thru all entries to make certain you have the correct item you want to delete.
b. Click in the circle

c. then go to the top and click Delete. It’s done. There is no reversal. If you deleted the wrong entry you will have to put it back in again. If you accidentally deleted someone else’s item. Call Us 442 0823, or them and beg their forgiveness.

8. To use Insert New Item open it and start at the top:
a. enter some kind of identifying inventory number (your pictures should have the same number, this will avoid confusion later as your files build up). You can add (behind the number) the name of the item ie Dress Shoes. But too much more text looks confusing on the detail page of the item.
b. Next box Select YOUR business name using the drop down arrow.
c. The next line is important because it is the “teaser” to get the item viewed on the detail page. a. You should re-enter YOUR COMPANY NAME again, following perhaps with  a dash – then the  Item Title and maybe a line like: Was $100.00 Clearance or ONE ONLY. Play with this until you find what looks good for you.
d Next Enter your sale Price Enter number only, $ sign is automatic and so is .00 at end of your prices I.E. If you want a price like $39 just enter 39. If you want $39.95 - just enter 39.95

e. Next if you have an image Click Browse and then find and open your folder in your computer files. Select the picture by clicking Open. The address will automatically go into this box.

e. Last put in your description. If you want to include an invitation to visit your website copy and paste the code at the top of the entry page at the end of your description, remember to type in your exact web address where is says TYPE-IN-YOUR-WEB-ADDRESS-HERE . ie mywebsite.com

f. Click Add Item and your done. Check it out by opening the Community Clearance site and clicking your business link and the detail page. If you want to make corrections use Edit Item.

9 To Edit Item. From the Manage Inventory link Select VIEW ALL ITEMS
b. Select YOUR item to edit.

c. Change the text or $sale price. And Click Update Item. Your done; you can view your item by clicking the View Item link near the top. This opens a new window for that item. If you want to re edit just close that window and you will be back to your edit window.]
